About Cortica San Diego
Cortica San Diego operates a multidisciplinary autism and neurodevelopmental care center serving children and adolescents through age 17. Families come from across San Diego County as well as other nearby Southern California communities.
The facility includes 25 rooms used for therapy and diagnostic appointments, along with two gym spaces of different sizes that support occupational therapy activities and play. Free parking is available on site.
Care at the San Diego center can include autism diagnostic evaluations, ABA therapy, early intervention, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy, pediatric medical services, and mental health counseling. These services are supported by a team of clinicians that spans medical, developmental, behavioral, and counseling disciplines.
Rather than operating each service independently, Cortica’s San Diego team coordinates treatment across providers. Clinical leadership, ABA supervisors, developmental therapists, pediatric medical professionals, and operational staff work together so information can be shared across different parts of a child’s care.
The center uses a neurodiversity-affirming approach and bases support around the individual strengths, needs, and developmental priorities of each child. Cortica San Diego also works with many major insurance plans and handles authorization and billing processes for families.
